I can’t say enough great things about 3 Sons Window & Door

This was truly a great experience (and I never thought I could say that about any type of home renovation : )  I had a really good feeling about this company right from the beginning.  Paul Nutile responded immediately to my request to come out to the house to provide an estimate.  When Paul arrived, he was so down-to-earth and very patient with me and my roommate.  We asked a gazillion questions and he answered every single one of them.  We got a really good education on the proper air flow in the attic, replacement windows vs. new construction windows and many other topics. Paul’s patience and ability to help us understand the whole process is what convinced us to go with 3 Sons.  His recommendation for us to visit the Harvey showroom really helped us prepare for this renovation.

Ok, so now comes the actual renovation.  We could not believe how much was accomplished within the timeframe that was quoted.  The roof was completed in 1.5 days and it turned out beautifully.  Next came the new construction windows and doors and then the vinyl siding.  I could not believe the craftsmanship and pride of work that the crews displayed.  I have never seen so many crew members who knew exactly what they were supposed to do and accomplished anything that was asked of them.  All of the crew members were extremely polite and professional and great to work with.  They answered all of our questions and were more than helpful.  Everything has been completed without any hidden costs.

We are the envy of all our neighbors and co-workers and we owe it to 3 Sons.  The exterior of the house looks brand new and we couldn’t be happier.

Tax Credit Announcement

The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 is restoring energy efficient tax credits for windows, doors and skylights. The bill reinstates the 25c tax credits that expired at the end of 2011 and extends them through the end of 2013.

Several products from Three Sons Window & Door qualify for the energy tax credits provided in the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.

Windows must meet the 2010 ENERGY STAR ratings for both the U Factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient to qualify for this credit. These ratings vary based on the region of the country you are located in.

The 2012 Tax Credit offers 10% of the cost of the home improvement up to a maximum of $500. In order to qualify, the home improvement must be made on an existing home and principal residence. Windows can only account for $200 of the available $500. Additionally, the new bill extends business credits of up to $2,000 for builders and contractors of new and renovated energy efficient homes.

All renovations, both homeowner and business, must be completed by December 31st, 2013. The bill retroactively affects projects completed in 2012.

Above and Beyond!

My wife and I own a turn of the century colonial and have painstakingly restored the interior. But when challenged with the exterior restoration we did not feel we could tackle this on our own. So after a long search we found Three-Sons. Paul walked us through all our options. He treated us and our home as if we were part of his own family. His patience and his desire to work through every little detail with us is unparalleled. His crew was always professional, on time and treated our home and property as if it were their own. Professionalism, craftsmanship and value are not dead. They are alive and well at Three-Sons. Thank you does not cover how we feel.
