  • Check your attic: You want to make sure your attic has properly installed insulation and ventilated for the winter.  Ventilation lead cold air into the attic, while the insulation seals heat in your home.
  • Prepare for winter storms: In the case of severe snowstorm make sure you have a fully-stocked emergency kit that includes batteries, a flashlight, candles, matches, and warm clothes and blankets.
